Can Someone Tell Me What This Means?

A friend showed me an old, old King James Bible the other day. He wondered what the text above the Book of Genesis means:

Year before the common year of the Christ, 4004
Julian period, 710
Cycle of the sun, 10
Dominical letter B (8?)
Cycle of the moon 7
Indiction, 5
Creation from tisri or Sept. 1

A quick google search show's it from something called Clark's Commentary.

Maybe someone in the Christian forum can help you.
