Correct, but the OP chooses to not offer that information. So people have to respond to what is shared.
He probably bought them already anyhow, based on previous posts.

They are not to my taste, but the OP may love them. To her question, I don't think they'd look right on a patio.

I have a roofed decked and am going to use those string lights again. Looks festive, casual, goes with most decor, and they hang up there so they won't get knocked over, broken, etc. Maybe something hanging would be a better option for her.

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.
Oh really?? EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE collects dust! I have always had to dust the inside of my houses, don't you? If we have to dust the inside of our houses we would most certainly have to dust the outside screened-in porches/patios.

Totally agree!

To the original question, NO. But hey, it's your house. Why ask strangers?

Since we've already covered the "dust/dirt factor" I'd be concerned with the narrow bases for stability during a "wind" event.

If They fall over, they look like they could fracture and fragment chards.

That wouldn't be a good thing.

In my "open" patio cover, I have 4 recessed dimmable lamps. (My cover is 12' X 31' for reference)

I don't like them either, and they don't look very practical to me. BUT - - if the OP wants them, he/she should buy them! Don't buy them for us, buy them for yourself. You are the one who will be living with them, after all. Buy what makes you happy.

Yeah, REALLY I live on a dirt road in a very forested area and have minimal dust inside AND outside. I'd presume it all gets filtered out by the surrounding pines and washed off the trees by the rain. Now, pollen is another matter entirely.

Maybe it's my Washington climate here, but I'd be far more worried about damp than dust. And animals... both mine and nature's. Those lamps aren't compatible with either kind of animal or anything wet.

Is weather or animals an issue where you are Blue? Is this a place that is screened in and basically indoors, or a patio where it is open to the elements?
