DON'T SCOOT BACK ON THAT CHAIR!!!

I've seen quirky crap like that on older, ramshackle, bizzarro homes, but that looks like they were trying to be normal...

Hopefully this was one of those virtually staged homes. I’ve seen some that make no sense at all - like this one!

That whole edge is a fall hazard. No WAY IN HELL that meets code! Must have railing!

That's kooky, and must be a staged thing (by an un-thinking stager).

Yeah it's not just the staging, the whole room design makes no sense.

Only thing I can think of is the dining area used to be the garage and was down a couple steps, and they took out the wall, without building up the floor.

The answer is to raise the floor in the dining room.

Or a web content "designer" who's never eaten a sit down meal away from their computer desk

I thought so with one picture, but the angles of the other pictures say no, this is how they put furniture in.

Well, thanks elnina, you just ruined a thread by removing public domain pictures for press release.

I'm seriously getting tired of people who don't understand copyright law as it pertains to those.

IDK... the TOS state:
"Copyrighted Material - Instead of copying-and-pasting articles, photos, or other material you find on the Internet, you should be posting links to those articles. Posting a snippet from the article and then the link is the appropriate way to post."

Retry with the link.
