Some of them look better than I had expected, but I would have to wait until others had them and went through the issues first. I'd always feel like it was a temu version of an EV though lol

There was another thread here regarding the tariffs by the Biden administration on Chinese EVs, but it was closed down. I wonder why.

I think the tariffs are a bad idea. Let them come in, at $ 20-22 K per car, plus taxes, and eventually Ford and GM would become a much-cherished memory, like Packard or Dusenberg. But please, don't stop here. Imagine how much of our tax money could be saved if we sublet the manufacturing of that damn expensive M1 Abrams tanks, or the even more expensive F35 fighter jets to the CCP and the comrades.

Don't worry about WW III coming. It won't happen. Not a single shot fired. The Chinese can click the mouse on their little red computers, and we all go dark and quiet in the good old USA. The Chinese Red Army can land on the Santa Monica Public Beach and no one would know, with the Pentagon chiefs reading comics by candlelight.

Dear Lord, what a dumb country we are. Feeding the enemy, bit by bit, dollar after dollar.
