As a soon to be transplant from CA, these picture are just what we imagined CT to be like, my husband and myself are originally from Scotland and the pictures remind us of back home, really looking forward to moving now!

The Pomfret school near Putnam epitomizes a New England Prep school totally.
I remember driving by the school in late autumn 2006 on a foggy afternoon-it reeked of charm and old world shadows around the grounds, and buildings.

The Putnam area is also beautiful. The drive along route 169 from north to south in eastern Connecticut is beautiful in any season.
