It is amazing with the pix of old Los Angeles and a lot of history. Once you get to the forum page search for "NOIRISH LA". OMG, I've been absolutely riveted with all of the beautiful architecture that we've lost over the years, things I had no idea about.
When folks talk about the lack of history and architecture in LA, they just have no idea. Check it out!

Mt San Gorgonio, California. This is the highest peak in SoCal at ~11500 ft. I *think* it is the mountain in the background in a picture posted above. This picture was taken about 6 weeks ago after a rain/snow fall.
