Jelly Belly Factory Tour

Jelly Belly is perhaps the most well known creator of jelly beans in the United States and many other countries. They have hundreds of flavors, with some specialty items like the creation of Harry Potter Bertie Bots Beans during the height of the Harry Potter craze. If visitors find themselves in Fairfield, California they can take a Jelly Belly Factory Tour.

General tours will allow visitors to smell the various flavors of chocolate, cinnamon, peach, pineapple, and whatever else is being cooked that day. The factory is roughly 45 minutes outside of Sacramento and an hour from San Francisco. The walking tour is 40 minutes in length. A tour guide will show visitors how the factory works by giving them a tour of the working factory. They cook up roughly 150 different sweet treats at this factory. It is also possible to learn a few secrets in how the Jelly Belly bean is created. It takes roughly a week to make a single bean, which visitors will learn why that is. The tour is free, but based on first come first serve basis. There are only a specific amount of people allowed in the factory tour each time for safety reasons.
