Allan Witt Park


Allan Witt Park located in Fairfield, California on Texas Road is a local place for residents to get outside and enjoy some recreation. Each year there are a number of festivities held at the park including Earth Day Festivals and cleanup. Schools also visit the park to get outside, have picnics, and learn a little about the ecosystem. The park hosts other events for artists, walks, and much more.

At the park are a number of recreational facilities such as a sports center, aquatic center, skate park, baseball fields, softball fields, and tennis courts. The park also has basketball courts, horseshoe pits, grassy areas for picnics, two playgrounds, group and individual picnic areas, barbeques, and restroom facilities. It is recommended that individuals make reservations for the picnic areas where there are shelters to ensure they have the space.

The walks in the park are three hour exercise sessions in which individuals can walk through the park. These sessions are also held at different parks throughout Fairfield to keep things interesting. Allan Witt Park hosts community events such as games, community service walks, and more to help get residents of the city involved in the environment and exercise.
