Hop Kiln Winery

Offering fine vintages since 1976, the Hop Kiln Winery produces wine under two labels: HKG and Hop Kiln. The latter wines are known for their artistic proprietary blends, including such award-winning whites as Thousand Flowers as well as classic reds represented by Rhone-inspired Rushin' River Red and Zinfandel-based, Big Red. Launched in 2009, the HKG brand specializes in ultra premium estate-grown varietals, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Guests are invited to spend the afternoon on the historic Hop Kiln Winery property. Cheeses, breads, and charcuterie can be obtained from the on-site deli, along with gourmet food items produced by regional artisans. There are serene picnic areas, such as the rose garden and the banks of the duck pond. Also worth seeing here is one of America's best-preserved kilns, California historic landmark #893, which processed hops until 1950 and now serves as the Tasting Room.

The Hop Kiln Winery and Tasting Room hosts more than 50,000 visitors a year. The address is 6050 Westside Road, Healdsburg, California 95448. With the exception of holidays, operating hours are from 10am to 5pm daily and no appointment is necessary. The picnic areas are open till 4:45pm for the exclusive use of customers. No outside alcoholic beverages or pets are allowed.
