Observation: Ice Machine was observed in a condition that prevents necessary maintenance and easy cleaning..
Correction: Repair the equipment to restore a state of condition that allows for proper operation, accuracy, functioning, maintenance, and cleanability per Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter. If unable to repair the equipment, replace it with one that meets the specifications of Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter.

Correction: All floors, walls, and ceilings must be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean. Cleaning of the physical facilities is an important measure in ensuring the protection and sanitary preparation of food. A regular cleaning schedule should be established and followed to maintain the facility in a clean and sanitary manner.

Observation: Observed methods are not being used to control pests. Numerous flying insect resembling fruit flies around the sugar water container and fruit storage area.
Correction: The presence of insects, rodents, and other pests shall be controlled to minimize their presence on the premises by using methods such as trapping devices or other methods as required. Contact your pest control operator for control measures safe enough to use in the food establishment. Sugar water container lid on tight and outside surfaces were cleaned.

Observation: Restricted use pesticides do not meet the requirements in 40 CFR 152 Subpart 1 Classification of Pesticides. Box of raid foggers, can of raid, and a spray bottle of ant and roach killer stored in lower cabinet.
Correction: Utilize restricted use pesticides that meet the requirements in 40 CFR 152 Subpart 1 Classification of Pesticides. Recommend the owner contact their pest control operator for advice. Insecticides were removed during the inspection.
