The developer also worked with previous Campus Village Shoppes tenants to provide financial assistance for relocation or lease renewals, and it is welcoming back Taqueria Habanero, Hanmi Sushi, Mr. Fries and the UPS Store.

Surprised Mr. Fries was included. I visited one time. Not very family friendly. Always loud, explicit hip-hop playing. Not really conducive for dining in. Random tables and chairs. Also, the fries are okay. Definitely not Five-Guys or Thrashers worthy.

Lord why can't we have a Thrashers in DC?

For grad students, I like the townhouse look of Terrapin Row. This monstrosity looks like a low0income housing project. Even dorms draped in brick look better than this. It's not going to age well.

Yeah, the aesthetics reminds me of the excessive large Communist housing blocks found in Eastern Europe. Between that project and the yet to be built Hillel Center, I imagine traffic will be a problem, especially the backroads of Old Town.

Great News! The Green Turtle is finally coming to College Park. Not sure why it took so long. Too bad I no longer drink alcohol or eat restaurant/fast food.

Greene Turtle, a Maryland sports bar chain, and Honey Pig, a Virginia Korean restaurant chain, will be opening in the College Park Shopping Center at 7370 Baltimore Ave., just south of Knox Road.
