If frozen, defrost. Mix with just enough sour cream or thick yogurt. Add 2 cloves of garlic, crushed, shredded gruyere cheese, parsley, chives, 1 tablespoon of Maille Dijon mustard, top with more grated cheese, and sprinkle with GOOD Hungarian paprika. You can also add caramelized onions, cooked in butter.

Serve with fried eggs and a green salad. This has more of an Old World flavor, but I guarantee someone wiwant ketchup or hot sauce. Have them on the table.

I like baking them in the oven to avoid frying. Often add finely minced onion and garlic...and fav seasonings are smoked paprika and a bit of sea salt.
