Well, I used actual data which showed pay for grads of both schools. I’m not hiring anyone, but the people who are pay GT grads more. That should be relatively simple to comprehend. Should be.

Surprised I missed this on my first reading of the article. The executive director of admissions at G Tech put Clemson in the same category as Georgia Tech and even mentioned Clemson first. Sounds like he has a lot of contact with admissions people at Clemson and NC State.

I've always considered Clemson as a similar school to Georgia Tech. There are people, people who have no connection to G Tech, who get upset if you say that. They think you are insulting Georgia Tech if you say Clemson is as good.
This could double as a last ditch effort to save the ACC lol.

Hopefully this is a trend that continues and grows

Exactly. The Ivy's need to be given a run for their money. I went to Cornell and I feel strongly that they are resting on their laurels and specializing in political correctness and virtue signaling as opposed to top-notch education.

I support Clemson staying in ACC to retain traditional rivalries wth programs nearby.

I think ACc and other non SEC and BiG 10 conferences should form their own football division and a playoff with a bunch of teams like basketball. It would be more popular than the sec big 10 playoff. SeC and big 10 would start struggling in recruiting.

My oldest went to Cornell and had to deal with all the PC nonsense while she was there. Her younger sister wanted no part of it so she chose Clemson and loved it.

This sounds and reads very much like wishful thinking (by those with a political agenda) without anything but a few anecdotes to back it up.

I'll believe it when acceptance rates at Columbia University (4%) get near those of Clemson University (43%)
