I have just a few pieces of furniture that I need to move from here up to New York. Has anyone had experience with sharing a moving truck? If so, who did you use and were you satisfied? I cannot rent a truck myself and it has been suggested this is a more efficient way of just moving a few items.

We did that before. We were not in a rush for the items so we found a mover we liked and just had them work it into their schedule.
I used Princeton movers out of Ewing NJ. I imagine with the amount of people moving here you should be able to hitchhike a ride back North.
