It’s the end of April but are there wildflowers still blooming now on the peninsula? I prefer locations along the bay side of the Santa Cruz Mountains, because they are closer to where I usually travel.

Where are they? Especially the California poppies, I love seeing those (yes I’ve been down south; not asking about that).

The Carrizo Plain is the place to go, but it's probably too late now.

Mt. Tam might still be worth it.
