Depends on your taste. Give me Woonsocket's historic North End over suburban Diamond Hill any day of the week.

It seems to be a common theme here as of late, cherry picking OK or "semi nice" areas of otherwise very unflattering cities/towns to try and sugarcoat their unfortunate reality.

The reality is that even a down-on-its-luck old industrial town like Woonsocket has livable areas. To point that out is not "sugarcoating" anything. I haven't seen anyone claim that Woonsocket is a wonderful place or that it should be on everyone's relocation list. So I'm not sure what your issue is?

Definitely, they have been working on downtown and transforming some of the mills to condos and getting pretty high prices for them.

Nope we are just getting the truth out as you are trashing entire towns without any credible accuracy.

Point is that no rational person would suggest that places like Woonsocket and West Warwick are desirable places and that they can't accurately be described as on the trashy side of things. I repeat that pretty much EVERY city or town of significant size is going to have some OKish areas, some people here are being deceptive by suggesting that Woonsocket (or WW) is unique in that regard and a decent city to relocate to. It is not. People go there for affordability and nothing else.

You are over rationalizing and posting inaccurate information and trashing entire city’s or towns in Rhode Island based on crime in certain areas within these cities or towns.

Just because a city or town has a questionable area doesn’t mean the entire city or town is a cesspool or trash as you keep throwing out.

You are doing harm to those looking to relocate to Rhode Island when they come here for information.
