" Now, more and more allegations are piling up. The allegations range from financial malfeasance and tax issues to racism and sexism. Anderson, who says she has owned Plant City solely for the past three years, told GoLocal in January after the Los Angeles Times story that she defended Kenney, saying, “He’s a brilliant chef and good man.”"
I did the Sandwich one in March and it was pretty fun. I got to try a lot of places I wouldn't otherwise get to. Basically, you get a "passport" with a coupon for an item each participating restaurant. At $30 ($25 if you buy early), it was pretty easy to get my money's worth. This might be an interesting way to try some vegan dishes and restaurants.
Not a strictly vegetarian place, but Nice Slice Pizza on Westminster has vegetarian and vegan options for their pizzas.
Thanks for bumping this. Reminded me that I had Macrons from Celebrated the other day - someone brought them to a cookout and they were excellent. I haven't been there in person, and I haven't had anything else from them; but the rest of the menu looks solid too.

Independent Man, if you’re out there lurking... I just heard this. I am told that Providence Vegan Deli “PVDeli” at 783 Hope Street is having a “soft opening“ today. I don’t know the hours... 12-5 maybe? They bill themselves as “Rhode Island’s first 100% vegan, New York inspired delicatessen. Unique sandwiches, cold salads, house made seitan meats and vegan cheese by the pound.”
"Like No Udder
We are now serving at our new location at 783 Hope St. in PVD!
We were forced to move!
Our space is also home to PVDeli…
