It really depends on many variables. Some people may find it difficult to date no matter where they live. If you are the outgoing-extrovert type, then it may be fairly easy. I would first work on making social connections/friends, then see where things go from there. As far as compared to Indy or Columbus, it’s like apples to oranges. For younger college age people, it may not be hard at all considering the many colleges in the area. It may be a bit more challenging for older working professionals relocating to the area, as many here are already set with relationships, families, etc.
