gunluver, they maybe able to buy their way out of justice in this life

but they cant buy their way out of justice on the other side

as John Glover (who played the devil) said in a episode of the short-lived 1998 tv show Brimstone famously said:

God's universe is not like the American legal system. You do something, you pay for it.

so a lot of the justice cheaters in this life will eventually face justice. nobody truly escapes justice

We already had a thread about the Franklin thing. IIRC, the consensus was that it was almost certainly a bunch of nonsense.

Something happened. Peter Citron did time, albeit minimal for child sexual assault.

Just wanted to thank everyone again for their thoughts on this one.
Is there anyone here that graduated around the time of 1999, 2000? Anywhere around there?

And the other side never proved anything happened. I missed that thread, but went back and read it. It was nothing but name calling on the conspiracy theory side. IF something is credible and you are asked for proof, you should be able to present that proof. Till then there is no reason to believe anything. Thats not saying it did not happen, but that it's not been proven and should not be accepted by rational minded people.

What is proof?
There was eyewitness testimony from at least two of the young victims in the Franklin case. Alisha Owens , one of the victims, was convicted of perjury and served or is serving a lengthy prison sentence. I have had dealings with some of the a**holes DeCamp mentions in his book about the Franklin case and although they are very "prominent" citizens I wouldn't believe anything they said. I have never met John DeCamp but those I know that have met and know him say he is a straight shooter. Good enuff for me.

Well that, and the people who are familiar with the case and refused to seek prosecution.

Obviously, something that can be proven to a degree of certainty.

The two that were tried (Owens was convicted) of perjuring themselves in claims directly related to the case?

Yep. Highly credible.

I think we found the problem. You base your standard of proof on how likeable the individual is.

Actually, I picked up a book about the whole Franklin thing from the library about a year ago. I eventually stopped reading it because it was boring, tedious, poorly written, and ultimately not very convincing.

That said, this is another conspiracy theory, and 99.9% of those fall apart when basic logic and reasoning is applied to them.

I don't attach to much credibility to what a Pedophile says.
