The truth is that they are groomers. Why else dress, and dance in a sexually enticing way around young children who at that age don't even know their right hand from their left. Young children are asexual, and don't need their innocence polluted by anyone no matter which way they lean. Anyone who does that is twisted whether they are gay, straight, trans, or lovers of children. It's way past time we called it out for what it is.

Tell that to the clergy.

A parent takes their 10 year old girl to a library to let them listen to a guy in drag read Dr. Suess.

A parent buys their 10 year old girl a pink AR-15 to teach her how to shoot.

Which one is right or wrong.

That's not what a groomer is. Groomers are people who build a relationship with the victim and take advantage. Knowledge is power. Try reading a book or a dictionary at the very least. Oh you can't, you want them banned I'm sure. Just like the communist countries you're so scared of. And yet you probably ***** about government control and lack of personal freedom.
Are they also going to indoctrinate into their communist, socialist, and gay agenda?

No ****. There are members of the clergy that have been grooming for years.

My wife will be a fully licensed social worker in a year and once she is fully licensed We plan on buying some property in Montana. We are both born and raised in Western Washington state, But to get 5+ acres and a small two bedroom home could easily run us north of $900,000. While I know Montana locals are very critical of the new shape their state has taken, Western Washington is completely off the deep end.

I currently run a restaurant in downtown Seattle, which is a great career for me. I see myself spending the next two years either going back to school or entering A certificate based program to make myself more employable in rural environment. I’m just asking if anyone has any tips on what’s in demand, or if there’s anything I can do to better my chances of finding gainful employment. I have never lived outside Western Washington so this is all very new to me.

I really appreciate anyone’s help and insight, thank you!

Good plan but not sure how a social worker and a restaurant manager are going to be able to spend 900K on a house? Even 1/2 that price seems ambitious. Wife's tele-commuting seems ambitious but I don't know anything about that field of work.

They're trying to find a cheaper house than that.

Flathead County tax assessments have gone out ... average 40-60% increases in property taxes for most.

People are PO'd, and rightfully so.

Our hit was 60% ... from under 5k to over 8k ... needless to say we filed our protest this afternoon. The county offices are going to be swamped.

Wonder how all the FOMO Fools are feeling now, knowing they paid far more than the house is worth just to 'be in Montana', and now they get the cherry on top with a huge tax increase ...

Exhibit A:

Met a guy a few weeks back who had a cushy Marketing job with Microsoft ... 17yr employee. They bailed on Redmond WA during the plandemic and moved to Kalispell in '21. Bought (2) houses, have 6 cars, and a kid going to Belmont next year. He got laid off a couple months ago ... probably had a 250k+ salary. Oops.

Said he was going with Vacasa to manage their 2nd house in Lakeside ... Vacasa takes 30%. Oops.

You can't fix stupid.

You are deflecting, and didn't read my post closely. More than one group can be dangerous to children, and our social fabric. Even though others are guilty of the same mess that doesn't make any of them less culpable.

I read it very carefully, you just don't have a high enough IQ to comprehend it. Instead you want to sound like an uneducated redneck who is probably not smart enough for me to argue with anyway.

Well you shouldn't feel too far off the beaten path in western Montana then being since Missoula has the same look and feel of Lynnwood, Washington.

Actually, nearly everything up and down the US93 corridor these days has the same look and feel as western Washington -- including the traffic, societal mindset, taxes, and crowds.

Missoula is a young man's town -- I left Missoula and came to Great Falls in the 80's because I planned to be married and have kids one day -- I didn't want to raise my kids in Missoula (even clear back then).

Politics have changed in the state over the past 40 years -- We've gone from live and let live to everybody telling everybody else what to do -- sort of like how they do it in western Washington.

Great Falls is fine I suppose -- all of the larger towns in Montana have their own fair share of crime, drugs, and homelessness ... it's sort of a national thing really so you're never going to really ever escape it.

I'm not going to sit here and wax all poetic about the virtues of Montana. I was raised here, and 21st century Montana is not at all like the Montana I grew up in or the Montana you see on TV movies. I don't mind folks moving here. What I do mind is folks moving here that have stars in their eyes or unrealistic notions because they might have seen something on TV. Is Montana beautiful? Sure it is, but then again so are the north Cascades of western Washington.

I hope your move is a smooth one and good luck.
