I've been curious as to where the ESPN announcers will be staying. I'm guessing possibly Homewood Suites in Fondren, Residence Inn at District at Eastover, new AC hotel at Township at Colony Park, the Sheraton Refuge in Flowood, the Fairview in Belhaven or possibly Westin downtown.

Going through the list I was thinking what neat places these all are. Or even better, maybe they're staying in a house in Lost Rabbit overlooking the reservoir and riding bikes on the Trace for their workout. If I were visiting and staying at one of these places, I'd be pretty impressed.

IIRC, in the mid-90s Sandra Bulluck filmed a movie in Jxn, I understand she stayed at a house in Roses Bluff (near **** of the Walk on the Rez).

But honestly ESPN is very hypocritical. They are going to come in and talk down to everyone about the water issues, etc., but they won't actually stay in Jackson and help economically. GUARANTEED they will stay in Ridgeland or Flowood.

He did a ton of good while here, not just for JSU, but for the city, SWAC and HBCUs.

I don't have a problem with him leaving. So many people are complaining and angry. His son Shedeur and Travis Hunter are going to Colorado with him and I have a feeling they aren't the only ones.

I hope they can keep the momentum. JSU is a top HBCU program but has made some poor choices (at times) for football coaches.
