Elven Park development (apartments, city hall, hotel)

Indy has billions of dollars in development in the pipeline for downtown alone.
1. The new Methodist hospital worth $2-$3 billion alone
2. Elanco HQ at the GM stamping plant worth $100’s of millions
3. IU and Purdue both committed to investing $100’s of millions on the campus formally known as IUPUI
4. The new 40 story Hilton Signia and convention expansion worth $800 million
5. The Old City Hall development on Alabama st, with its 32 story tower and 21c hotel worth over $140 million
6. Phase 2 of Bottleworks district has started with a price tag of $100 million
7. 16 tech is to break ground on two new buildings. More lab space and 280 apartments. Project to cost over $80-$100 million
8. Eleven Park is a HUGE game changer for Indy if built as the renderings. this is a $1 billion dollar project that will push Indy past its peer cities as well as change the existing skyline.
I can’t think of any other city in the Midwest that’s developing this much at one time in the core of downtown besides maybe Chicago. I didn’t even mention the plans to develop the abandoned jails and helipad downtown Indy as well as the City Market redevelopment. Not to mention the Simon family plans to build a hotel and apartment towers on Pennsylvania ave across from Gainbridge Fieldhouse and Georgia ave.
