Pretty solid win over the Blues the other night. Bedard with another goal.

Couple days old now but NYI has Patrick Roy in the organization. Not as goaltender but as head coach.

Interesting to see how he does.

So far, Rangers/Hurricanes/Panthers/Bruins/Stars have clinched playoffs. Expect Avalanche and Canucks to clinch soon. Jets/Predators/Maple Leafs should be locks too.

The race for the last spots is getting hot. Big win tonight for Washington over Detroit and the Islanders keep pace. Penguins not far behind, Flyers were in a spot but haven't played well since Tortorella got ejected in Tampa 3 weeks ago.

It would be such a shame if the Penguins missed the playoff due to "turning it on too late," especially after the crazy season Crosby is having. What amazes me is how fast he still is. His speed is wildly underrated. I would love to see them make one more run for it.

I obviously don't think they have much of any chance to win it all, but at the very least, just to make it in would be great.

Very disappointed in how the Devils' season went, considering the crazy amount of talent they have on that team. Injuries and goalie woes plagued them far too much. Time to insert a bit of physicality into their game to protect their stars.

Habs, well, sometimes I'm ashamed of being from Montreal. They look like an AHL team, and they don't seem to have much clear direction to solve the problem.

Caps don't really deserve to make the playoffs. But, they're in the drivers seat right now for the final wildcard.

Have to give a call out to Ovechkin, who.. I think he had something like 6 goals through the first 43 games.. in the past 35 games, he has 24.

The questions about whether he'd get to Gretsky's record.. Those have quieted down quite a bit.

The only real question will be whether he does it next season or in the 25-26 season.

Looks like the Coyotes are done with the 20 year soap opera of finding a real home.

I have never seen anything like this. I could have sworn Bettman was going to put up his house to make it work in Phx.

I feel for the Coyotes fans. They've been jerked around for years now, never really had a stable owner, missed out on getting franchise-changing talent in the draft, and had to deal with Glendale and Tempe. That's not a way to build a customer base.

Perhaps had the Suns arena been built with Hockey in mind way back when, fortunes could have been different. People forget in the novelty years they were a hit.

The Glendale arena is really nice. I find it nicer than the one the Canucks and Kraken Avalanche play in. The only other NHL arena I have been to is the one the Ducks play in and that's the best to my eyes. Still very modern looking with nice exterior and interior. The one in Vancouver is overrated. Really cramped and the seats are so small feeling.

I boggles the mind how in all these years these smart business owners and local leaders could notake any part of Phx work out. Stick the stupid arena in the middle of town.
