I like to go to beauty shops like Sally's or Ulta. People working there get training about the products that Sally Beauty carries, as well as techniques for using the products. I am always very pleased with their recommendations.

I've learned that doing that will inevitably show you Sponsored sites which give you rigged results. I try to make sure it's a valid review site like Good Housekeeping or Consumer Reports before following the links.

Amazon is full of "sponsored" offers. Most of them worthless. Many just fake.

I now use “L’Oreal boost it “ mousse. I was using a gel, then I read it could be heavy for my fine thinning hair. I could tell the difference right away, it worked for me anyway.

I swear by Sexy Hair's "Big Root Pump Plus" volumizing spray mousse. $17.99 for 10 oz. I bought my first can at my salon years ago when I loved the results from my stylist using it, and I haven't bought any other since.

I bought a can of this at CVS the other day and I love it! It really pumps up my hair.
