Just this week, the election for the position of one commissioner was up for grabs. 3 candidates ran, the incumbent Tom McKelvey and 2 others - Jessica Tyson and Dan Vandermolen. McKelvey lost and there is a run-off between Tyson and Vandermolen. Tyson is apparently a conservative although she won't say unless you ask her. Vandermolen plainly states that he is endorsed by the Democratic party. McKelvey voted for Trump. Might be why he lost. I voted for Vandermolen for his honesty. Who they voted for in the last election tells me all I need to know about who and what they are. Ask them both who they voted for in the last election. You'll get a straight answer from Vandermolen.

I know if I were still a Kentwood resident I would not vote for Democrats or GOP (unless an Amash type). Biden or Trump...they voted unwisely.
