Hi Everyone,

I am looking to relocate to GR to be closer to my son, who lives in Comstock Park. I've tried looking for places to rent but there's not much in that particular area.

Id really like to stay away from the college kid type areas. I like outdoor activities, restaurants, parks, ect. I'd like to stay within 10-15 miles of my son and the city. I work from home so a commute isn't a issue. My budget is under $1200.

Thanks!
Christina

Are you looking for an apartment or house? What are you looking for in the place you live? Give a little more specifics and I can give suggestions.

Hi there!

Id prefer a house/condo/townhome. I have 2 smaller dogs and don't think they would do well in an apartment.
Id need a 2 bedroom for sure. I want to be outside the city. Someplace quiet but not too far away from grocery stores/drs/restaurants/shopping. I love nature and lakes. Quaint would be a fitting word.

Hope you found a place. There are many suburbia areas that are desirable in GR. These include:

Forest Hills/Cascade Ada
Grand Rapids Twp
Kentwood/Caledonia
Byron Center
Walker
Rockford

OP has not checked in since Feb. Lots of good places to choose from if she made the move!

Default -

My friend and I are planning to stay in Manila for a month and so we would prefer to rent a condo instead of a hotel. I dont know Manila well and am looking for suggestions of what areas to go, I guess the obvious choice would be Makati or Fort Bonifacio.
It must be a relatively safe area and not too far from places of interest like shops, clubs etc.
