They don't exist! They are AI generated images and a scam. Scammers are trying to sell them on eBay and Etsy.
This AI garbage is all over social media (especially Facebook) and thousands of people eat it up thinking it’s real.

The artist's biography on the Toutiao page clearly mentions that they make paintings using AI technology.

Seriously, no one with right mind would believe that those (and some other versions) are real, but considering someone went through the trouble of setting up professional-looking online seed shops to sell them, someone must be buying those seeds.

I wonder if you actually get seeds and if so what would come up if you planted them.

It’s like that picture of a “baby peacock” that was making the rounds on FB for a while. You’d have to be very gullible to believe that was real. I can’t find a link to it, but it’s very pretty. Quite obviously not a baby anything, but people will eat up anything.

Probably random seeds of common weed (not THAT weed) or seeds that don't germinate.

Lots of people on FB are very gullible. It shows when you read their dumb posts.

This??

They actually use the Latin name for those alleged “seeds” they sell in the description. Belongs to bromeliad described in the link

https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/c...us-bivittatus/

The Latin name they use - is a plant of bromeliad family usually reproduces by clones: “pups” which one breaks away from the mother plant.

Doubt they have “the seeds” as the plant only flowers once in a life time and then dies.

Who knows what those seeds are - no doubt something invasive
People should diligently report those items/sellers to their respective selling platforms as a scam.

Cute as Photoshop can get.
It just shows how much of social media is fake news and dubious business opportunities. .
You know, most people troll others for either revenge, for attention seeking, for boredom, and for personal amusement...
Trolling is a situational behavior that anyone can engage in, and trolls are often ordinary people.
And there are opportunists, who prey on gullible people for financial gain.

Sad... Internet had so much potential.

I've got enough cat faces around here.
The stuff some folks, or AI, come up with will get worse and worse.
And the gullible will fall for it.

The site says that 100K were sold. The whole thing is fake, so I doubt that any were sold.
