Thanks for providing this information to me. I fully expect that this project will be able to pull in some major corporations now that I know that it’s zoned to Keller ISD.

If I had looked at the map provided I would have known this. OP referring to that area as Northwest Fort Worth threw me off. That area is not generally called northwest Fort Worth. North Fort Worth would have been more appropriate.

Last I checked, North City is within the boundaries of Northwest ISD (albeit the southernmost portion of said district), not Keller ISD. The area straddles three school districts, NISD, KISD, and Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD.

This map from Tarrant County Elections has good street-level detail of the NISD boundaries (only of the portions of NISD within Tarrant County), and North City is indeed inside NISD, so some property taxes collected from North City (and any children living there) will go to NISD. The neighborhoods immediately to the south and east are within Keller ISD, and the neighborhoods to the west are in EMSISD.

Some of the people calling this "Northwest" Fort Worth might therefore be thinking about the Northwest ISD as well.

Now 2 years later North City is still not up and running. Many retail stores have changed their mind and are not signing lease there anymore. In lieu of them, North City will get hundreds of apartment homes. Not much had been built yet though. Development had been stalling. Is North Fort Worth going to decline with all these future mass apartments?

Talk to the city planning commission. What is an apartment home?
