Never heard of anything being done or coming to that site, though.
So i was able to find out, Trinity Basin (the Charter school) purchased the old North Texas Steel Factory on Bolt St across La Gran Plaza, (formally Seminary South) they've already completely demolished the old abandoned factory and apparently are building a new Charter School there.

Which is good news since the building has been vacant for decades. Now i wish that the abandoned silos (both the one in South side close to La Gran Plaza and the one off of South Main by JPS would be converted into condos or something. They are an eye sore.

Good to know. I haven't been there in a couple months, so I didn't see what it was.

JJG hasn't posted in a while, though I've never met him personally he contributed greatly to this page. Hoping he's ok, I too go on hiatus for a while, but his last post was in march. A lot has happened since then too, new charter school being built at the Old North Texas Steel Co location off of bolt across seminary south. Now known as town center.

Also TXU has sold vacant land thats been an eyesore to a apartment developer, massive outrage from locals about gentrification and businesses worried about it affecting their already pricey leases. And rising property taxes.

Actually, Town Center was renamed La Gran Plaza more than a decade ago.

JJG still posts regularly on the Fort Worth architecture forum.
