It's Fall 2022.

Anyone get any nice, new sweaters? Unfortunately, it's still in the triple digits here & there where I am, so no wearing sweaters for who knows how long!

The forecasts for SoCal all say temps in the 70's for the next 5 days. San Diego is especially cool. Where are you, Palm Springs?

No, but where I am gets quite hot too. It was trip digits just a couple days ago & a couple of the next days does say it will be in the 90s. I've heard it's considered a desert, but not sure about that. SD's pretty much always nice & cool.

SD had some heat waves this summer. I'm glad I'm not in SoCal. My ideal environment is Monterey Bay. Though I haven't been to Humboldt yet. The coastal part rarely gets above the 60's. Heaven!

Sorry, I digress. I have a stash of really nice sweaters that I'm going to take to a consignment shop later this month. Some cashmere ones I scored for cheap, a few yrs ago, and quite a variety. Sad to have to get rid of them, but they're too small for me.

I am waiting for a beautiful oversized fisherman cable sweater to arrive! I bought it on major sale and have been looking for one like this to replicate an outfit I saw on Pinterest last year.

I felt okay splurging on this sweater because it’s a total classic that I can see myself wearing non-stop during our very short winter in Arizona. My only concern is if it’s oversized enough.

Mod cut.

Also loving this one from Rouje.

Mod cut.

I buy classic sweaters, so I buy them at the end of the season, after markdowns, not in the fall.

I love cashmere sweaters, too. Where do you find yours ?

I still have cashmere sweaters from the 80's very soft, however, many of the cashmere's now are a blend and scratchy even though the label will say 100% cashmere.

Also, love cotton sweaters, happy when I find 100% cotton sweaters. Cannot wear the acrylic, polyester get too warm.

Where I live now are 4 seasons and we just entered cooler phase with temps around 50F. A perfect weather for sweaters and I have wardrobe full of them.
I love sweaters - they are so versatile and with little add-on like a shawl or scarf they easily can be matched with any skirt or pants.
They come in endless variety of colors and textures, shapes and styles, and are always trendy!

Its Texas so the weather is not cool enough for sweaters until after Thanksgiving but that's not excuse to not by a Sweater if its on sale.

My goto site these days for new sweaters is venus.com

Got a few of my wish-list just waiting until November to add them to that months order.
