Hello everyone,

I am 22 year old college graduate, moving to Fargo for my job at Microsoft. I am from Minneapolis so I don't know about Fargo much. I would like to live in an area with restaurants around in walking distance and close to Microsoft Fargo Campus. Probably, an area where I can meet new people and fresh college graduates of my age. I looked around few places at Veteran's boulevard(Latitude 46 Apartments), Ponte West neighborhood(Coletrain Apartments) and area around intersections of 32nd Ave S. and Veteran's Boulevard and intersections of 32nd Ave S. and 45th St. S. Am I looking at right places? I'm still confused about which location to rent an apartment. Any advice would appreciated.

That area of West Fargo and southwest Fargo is growing very fast and is a great area IMO. If you dont want the immediate college scene and want to be around similar. Many new apartments and businesses in that Veterans Blvd area and sure to come more restaurants catering to the 20 and 30 something crowd. Also close to Scheel's Arena. I would stay close to Veterans personally....but I also like newer developments and such.

Thanks for your response. Also, how about the Osgood area(around intersection of 40th Ave S and 45th St. S). I found there were many shops and restaurants at that intersection too. How is that?

Yes that are is fine as well. That area of Fargo is in West Fargo schools and near the WF border and is the big growth zone. Mostly new built within the last 1-10 years. i have been to Fargo many times....but never rented there so unfamiliar with specific apartments, etc.... but as for areas of town the region south of 32nd and west of I-29 is fine.
