Believe it or not, we consistently had lows around 40 to upper 40s just a week ago - slipped into the upper 30s at some measuring stations. That's pretty unusually cool for us in mid-May.

Yes, thats quite cold over there. Sometimes we get warm wether fronts moving through the interior, while you are getting a cold front moving through your State as well as Idaho, and Washington. My mother in law lives in Washington, next to Norther Idaho and ofter tells us (my wife and I) how cold it is there compared to where we are in Alaska. The cold fronts usually move South through Canada.
