These next three show views from the Superior Hiking Trail, which about 40 miles of the trail runs through the city, and is rated as one of the top ten hiking trails in the world.

These shots were taken late fall of 2009.

Notice the ice in the harbor

Just a few reasons I love Duluth! If I ever wanted to leave the woods of the Chippewa forest, this is where I would want to be.
