If I have to make a wild guess ... I would say it would be by College Station

https://www.kbtx.com/content/news/Ne...469984993.html

Texas Central, developers of a high speed rail they hope will one day service the Dallas-Houston corridor, say they’re making a billion dollar investment in Grimes County.
On Thursday, Texas Central released new details on their planned passenger station in Roans Prairie. The stop will service Brazos Valley residents.
Texas Central's plans call for a shuttle service that will directly link Texas A&M University to the station, as well as other nearby connections.
From there, it’s about a 50 minute train ride to Dallas or a 30 minute ride to Houston.

That would put them in the middle of Texas triangle with easy access from Dallas and Houston

That would make more sense too, that way its a couple hours drive from all the major population centers of Texas.

Corpus Christi is not exactly a destination for most people either except for Texans who like to visit the beaches of Port A. I just don't see either as a big draw for the rest of the country like Southern California and Florida are.

Maybe San Antonio or possibly Galveston/Houston area due to the port and Disney cruises presence.
I was thinking San Antonio as well or between San Antonio and Austin.

Central/South Central Texas is always concerned about the Edwards Aquifer levels, so that's out for Disney.

I suspect Disney will be closing both Disney World and Disneyland soon with political problems in the former and economic problems (high land prices) in the latter. TV (streaming; broadcast/cable) is more lucrative. Walt would have proven himself as a visionary by having one park in Middle America, instead of a park on each coast!

Im trying to figure out if this is sarcasm or if anyone is stupid enough to actually believe the parks will shut down because the fringe right is upset or that opening one in Texas would somehow have been better than Florida or California. Hell, Houston couldnt even keep AstroWorld afloat.

Now that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is mouthing off to Disney and threatening them, I don't expect any of those park operations jobs to be transferred to Orlando any time soon?

A DisneyWorld in Texas? ...That would theoretically put one halfway between Anaheim, CA and Buena Vista, FL.

If I were Disney and I was going to build a park, it would be somewhere flat(ish), away from the coast, but not too far inland either....San Antonio? Waco?

Probably not gonna happen.

Um... That is because Travis Scott let people die while he was performing. WTF does that have to do with Texas?
