Hello
We are thinking of moving from Vegas to Corpus Christi area
We have adult kids so schools are of no concern
We work from home
We will be going to TX the first of sept for 2 weeks to check out the area / amenities etc
Best area to check out ? We were thinking south side ? When we come back to purchase home in dec we will be looking at a cash purchase and want to stay just under 250,000

A few random questions : what should we expect roughly to pay for house insurance with wind and flood included?
I know weed is not legal and I’m not asking anyone’s advice on how to break the law but I’m curious how strick they are if you have less than 2 oz ?
Thanks in advance

Areas: Southside, Flour Bluff, Midtown(Alameda and Staples North of SPID). Market is super tight in your price range right now so you will probably get more bang for your buck in older neighborhoods where the schools aren't as new and good.

Based on your prices range I'd guess 150-200 a month assuming a bit of contents insurance.

Present DA goes pretty light on minor possession, like dismisses a lot of them. Don't know if the cops even arrest for it anymore. DA's can change though.
