Has Tech had their full compliment of players for single game this season? It seems to be they have had someone in Covid protocols or something every game.
That said, Liberty was the RANKED team in the game...not the Hokies...
After an epic run of 27 consecutive bowl games, Hokies have opted out of potential postseason play.. Truth is, they haven't really been themselves since Beamer left, but.. Congrats on an admirable generation of consistency.
I don't blame them for opting out because other schools have to, namely other ACC schools. It's not fair to the kids, let them go home and visit their families. I don't think a lot of people know what they had to go through this year.
After Virginia Tech demolished UVa on the road.. VT huddled up for a team photo on the empty field.. then they were drenched by the field sprinkler system.
Not currently known if it was just a timer system, or a vindictive, sour grapes UVa groundskeeper
Hokies headed to the Military Bowl to face a pretty good Tulane squad.
Decent bowl, good opponent.. I'm lookin' forward to it. Virginia Tech won a Military Bowl a couple years back.
