One of our first homes was purchased from the original owners, built in 1953. They left behind an old pair of Binoculars, and a Firestone Tool Box with tools. Being an Auto Tech at the time, I found the Tool set interesting, never heard of them, so been keeping them and the Binoculars with every move over the years. The Binoculars were found hidden in the rafters of the garage when I placing stereo speakers......very strange. I was cleaning our garage, almost gave away the tool set as ordered by Wife, then checked Ebay......the tools have value, oddly enough, cannot find anything on the Tool Box....any clue on value of the box ?.....trying to get photo of Tool Box uploaded....no luck

Car guy here.

The tools have value...as tools, not antiques. I'm sure that Firestone didn't manufacture them. Probably had them made by a major tool company for a promotion. The vise grips appear incongruous to a socket wrench kit and probably didn't come with it.

You can probably replace those tools with equally old tools at a swap meet for about $30.

I wouldn't rely on eBay prices.

I was surprised to see there was a market for these. As a former tech, I find it interesting the tools are marked "Firestone", I'll look at other pieces, I know the sockets I did check out have "Pronto" stamped on them.
