jfre81, Amen to that, my brother. If you're interested in the non urban areas of Chicago, we'll put that on the agenda. Edison Park, North Park Village, Lincoln Square.

The bungalow neighborhoods up there look a bit like inner-loop Houston before they started tearing 'em down all piecemeal-like to put these townhome abominations that optimize nothing but developer profits. Of course I would be interested.

Got to see that area a bit fairly early on in my time here, before I started living just a little further up the Blue Line. Haven't gone northwest much from here since settling in, though.

jfre81, great colorful shots. OK, let's do a northwest run next time. By the way, did I miss your shots you took on Division and Grand Avenue, and by Cabrini? Di you post those yet?

The full Chicago set is over a thousand files deep now.
And there's still more coming every day.

jfre81, I remember that great contrast between the old rowhouses and the new housing stock of Cabrini! And that parking ticket across the street from Bruna's Ristorante! Ahh, that was a great day!

Such a beautiful day in downtown Chicago today. But look, not one person reflected in the Bean.

This is Chicago style pizza, thin crust, cut into small squares, aka 'Tavern Style'. Deep dish and stuffed are tourist traps.
