Before anyone gets over-excited, the word is "fighting" cancer, not "curing" it.
Still, it's interesting. Reminds me of the famous incident of Norman Cousins supposedly "laughing" his cancer into remission.
Can a Neuroscientist Fight Cancer With Mere Thought?
This finding and others like it hold promise for the development of improved cancer therapies that, while not an actual cure, could improve the life span and health of people suffering from cancer. https://silk-news.com/2023/03/18/opi...-mere-thought/

Fighting it with a positive attitude suppposedly helps but I agree it is probably not going to cure an advanced stage disease without other medical intervention.

I can tell you from my experience that having a positive attitude. with determination and lots of patience helps get through it.
At those times when one wonders whether the chemo is worth it, thinking about your loved ones, watching kids/grandkids grow up, and other goals for the future help give the strength to continue on.
I told my patients countless times.
Proper diet and exercise will cure any disease.
Problem is, finding proper diet and exercise.
Same goes for thinking. Proper thinking will cure any disease.
All's left is to find that proper thinking.

I have been fighting cancer for over two years and I agree. Diet, exercise a good attitude will help tremendously. I have been through chemo and a Bone Marrow Transplant and without a great attitude I would not have made it. One day at a time is all we are guaranteed.
The usage (and thought) of the phrase "fighting cancer" (or anything) is incorrect in terms of having a positive effect on healing.
You take ownership that there is something amiss in your body and send healing to the area (and your whole being).
"Fighting" is not helpful. Acceptance and healing are.
