Anyone interested in us starting a thread devoted to pictures of Canada? I know there's a couple of threads of pictures of specific cities but not a general thread of pictures taken anywhere in Canada - cities, countryside, mountains, beaches, nature, people, cultural festivals, other things of interest - taken during our travels.
I'll start with one. This is taken in the lower mainland BC, looking east at sunset last night. That is Mount Baker (in Washington state) in the far distance, and at the top is a sudden cloudburst of rain. I thought it was interesting because of the way the sunset made the cloudburst look like a trailing pink curtain.
