Speaking to someone whose political beliefs in Saratoga will make you a pariah....that's something nice about Saratoga. We vote Democratic. Republican led towns in NY and most areas are in the toilet.
Who do you think pays for the #1 industry north and west of Albany (govt)?? Westchester and south my friend and they aint Trumpies. My summer (northern ny) house has a county tax bill that is 60% medicaid (GOP dominated..and impoverished go figure). Why don't they just pull themselves up by their bootstraps? Steve Forbes would like to know. Meanwhile the Democratic towns like Scarsdale, Saratoga, Larchmont have to subsidize these lazy upstate good-for-nothings.

.....For anyone who might find the military history..of our state..interesting (like me)...the NY state military museum is in Saratoga at the old armory. Just look for the WW2 Sherman tank parked out front.
