Not to mention that the majority of trees and plants in AK are deciduous and go dormant in the "off season". They'll either be buried under snow/ice or brown. Conifers are evergreen.

Considering your interests and the limited duration of your trip, here are some suggestions:

1. **Juneau - Digital Detox Haven:** If you're drawn to nature and beauty but also crave a break from the digital world, Juneau offers a fantastic retreat. Disconnect from screens and immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes. Explore hiking trails, wildlife spotting, and perhaps even join a guided photography tour to capture the beauty without distractions.

2. **Kodiak - Wildlife Wonderland:** Known for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife, Kodiak is a nature lover's paradise. Consider it a digital detox destination where you can focus on observing bears, eagles, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Spend your days hiking, fishing, or simply soaking in the serenity of the surroundings.

3. **Fairbanks - Cherry Blossom Café:** While Fairbanks may not have cherry blossoms, it does offer its own unique charm, especially if you're interested in cozy cafes and hot springs. Visit local gems like the Cherry Blossom Café for a taste of Alaskan hospitality and comfort food. Afterward, head to Chena Hot Springs Resort for a relaxing soak amidst beautiful natural surroundings.

4. **Nome, Bethel, or Kotzebue - Digital Disconnect:** These remote Alaskan communities offer a chance to truly disconnect from the digital world and immerse yourself in local culture. While amenities may be limited, you'll find authentic experiences and perhaps stumble upon hidden gems like quaint cafes or local markets where you can savor the simplicity of life off the grid.

5. **Logistics:** Consider the logistics of reaching your chosen destination within your timeframe. Some places may require more travel time, especially if you're relying on flights or ferries. Plan accordingly to make the most of your trip while leaving room for serendipitous discoveries along the way.

6. **Weather and Packing:** Be prepared for varying weather conditions, even in the spring. Pack layers, waterproof clothing, and sturdy footwear for outdoor activities. Keep in mind that weather can be unpredictable in Alaska, so flexibility in your plans is key to enjoying your digital detox or Cherry Blossom Café experience to the fullest.

7. **Local Guidance:** Once you've narrowed down your options, consider reaching out to local tourism offices or online forums for specific recommendations and insider tips based on the time of year you're visiting and your interests.

Whether you choose to disconnect digitally or savor the ambiance of a Cherry Blossom Café, Alaska offers unparalleled natural beauty and adventure that's sure to make your short trip memorable. Enjoy your time exploring the Last Frontier!
