    --Several employee's beverage containers [bottles] were observed resting on the slicer, a food contact surface. Drinks were not configured with a straw to prevent cross contamination.

    --The Otis Spunkmeyer cookie displays for both service lines did not have utensils, [or equivalent] available to grab for single, unwrapped cookies. Students were forced to bare-hand cookies.
  • Preventing Contamination from Ice Used as a Coolant (46.286)
    --The drain line for the walk-in cooler may become dislodged / moved, creating contamination of the food below.
  • Materials in Multiuse Utensils & Food-Contact Surfaces (46.521)
    --Several dish trays show excess ware, pits, cracks and breaks.
  • Cleanability of Ventilation Hood System Filters & Grease Extracting Equipment (46.544(e))
    --HOOD SCREENS 544 (e) MESH SCREENS FOUND-Nonfood-contact surfaces. Nonfood-contact surfaces shall be free of unnecessary ledges, projections and crevices, and designed and constructed to allow easy cleaning and to facilitate maintenance. Repeat from 2012-2014. Item has not been corrected.
  • Approved Materials to be Used in Plumbing Systems (46.821)
    --The Nalgene-type clear flexible line that is connected to the refrigerant drain pan is inadequately pitched and has a kink at a critical juncture. This kink is preventing flow of condensate from the unit to the drain. Discussed options with the PIC.
  • Air Gap Requirement, Design of Backflow Prevention & Conditioning Devices (46.822(c)-(e))
    --Two separate food prep sinks do not have an adequate air gap between, due to a direct connection. Renovations to the school were conducted after 2004
  • Retention, Drainage & Delivery of Sewage, Other Liquid Waste & Rainwater (46.862(b)-(f))
    --Food facility food prep sinks have direct connections to the floor drain, creating possible back-flow issue.
