Timid, as in didn’t bring much snow. I think the seasonal snow fall for Tri Cities is still below normal going into March.

Last night out here past Prosser, we got a heavy dusting of snow, with temps in the 40's it's melting off and sublimating in the Chinook wind we have now on Tuesday morning.

It seems like the TriCities get significant snow about every 2-3 years. By significant I mean lasting on the ground for 3-4 days and/or multiple shorter term events. The snow season is not completely over but winding down. As I posted earlier, that April snow event of last year was an anomaly. And it didn’t last long.

February average high temp in at 48.1, which is very close to average. 7-day outlook looks like nothing unusual. In fact into the 60's this coming week.

Well I got some snow last night, it stuck to the grass and my car, but not to the roads. I think we are having a wetter than average spring which is to be expected with La Nina.

I have not been keeping records, but it seems to me we are having a rather cool and wet Spring this year. What do you think?
