pnwguy2 - I've circled back to looking at the Tri-Cities for retirement, are there other threads you can point me to on this subject? (I see you live in that area.)

PNWx23, (I like your handle!), other than this section of city-data I don't know of any Tri-Cities specific threads. Sometimes, the area comes in the general "Washington" forum.

A good link for relocations is here: Best Places to Live in Washington - Relocate to Tri-Cities - Visit Tri-Cities WA

TC is the sunniest in WA. We claim 300 sunny days but in truth that includes partly cloudy days lol.

Partly cloudy = partly sunny, and that counts in my book!!
I literally look at stats first - "how many sunny days per year" everywhere I look...

Partly cloudy days are sunny if the sun is shining. Miami has as many "completely clear" days as Seattle but a lot fewer overcast days.

Still pretty cold and a lot of snow on the ground here near Prosser. Warmup predicted for the weekend. This has been quite a cold spell, not just locally, but across North America as noted. Sometime next week we should see the end of the snow.

Fastest snow melt I have ever seen here. From significant snow on lawns and side streets to nothing in 24 hours! I guess that is what 60 degrees does after several days in the 20’s and 30’s. Feels more like Denver!

I like the sound of that...60's and melting fast.

Current location in SJI...our house is the last to have the snow melt.
