It would be nice if you specified the actual great deal you received.
Sure. I didn't mention it before as I got a Priceline.com Express Deal, which means that its not guaranteed to be there for any particular day(s) or for more than one traveler.
Choosing the $63 per night deal at 4 Stars and crossing my fingers, I got the Go Native Bermondsey Street Apartments hotel. This place is listed as a "guest favorite" and, from reviews and pictures, I can understand why. Looking through other sites, I'm finding rates between $90-$160/night for this hotel (for the rates on the lower end, once one adds in the taxes and fees, its still about $175 more than what I paid). Granted, other sites like Tripadvisor and Expedia list this place as a 3 Star hotel, but the reviews are pretty much all great nonetheless. For those who are curious about this place's location, its a ten minute's walk from London Bridge tube station.
Great deal to Dubai. Even if you don't want to spend most of your time there, you should be able to get cheaper deals to other countries (for example Oman, Maldives, or India) than you would find direct from the US Plan a trip for two to Dubai | Special Offers | Destinations
If you are an RCI member some of these same places are on the website where you sign in at an even lower price. Click on "last calls" and search availability.
From the US to Australia, you can find a fare that is several hundred dollars cheaper than any listed on the air-fare websites,, by taking a connecting flight through Asia, especially if your destination is Perth or Darwin.
Look up the cheapest fare you can find to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta or Bali, and then add on the fare from there to Australia, usually $3-400 RT. You even get an unlimited stopover in Asia as part of the deal.
This strategy can work for lots of destinations. I saved a couple of hundred on a flight to Central Asia, by adding together the RT fare to Istanbul and the very cheap fares on small Turkish airlines to the onward destinations.
I paid around $960 on the currently pretty weak Canadian dollar for a roundtrip from Toronto to Delhi on Finnair. I have 1.5 months of travelling between flights. No secret here, just having flexibility and the patience to snoop around several different airline and aggregate websites.
Can you let me know which is the best Packages and how i can get this for Costa Rica trip?
