I personally don't dislike fake boobs if they're nicely done. I dislike lip fillers and aggressive nose jobs, but that's a story for a different day. Anyways, my guess is she has fake boobs, and the guy is being cheeky by bringing it up to see how she will respond. If her boobs are actually real (less than 1% chance) then more power to her, she is genetically blessed.
Some are better than others obviously, but I prefer natural over fake in general and even the good ones aren't really an improvement, just less of a disfigurement. Agree on the other stuff, too. Most cosmetic things that women do to themselves don't help. People are beautiful naturally. No need to "fix"/ruin anything.
I get stuff that is done as a medical necessity (e.g. reductions due to back pain, etc.), but the purely cosmetic changes are typically unnecessary.
I'm assuming this is a date with someone you just met, possibly by chance or by OLD? If a man asks you a personal question like that without even knowing you, that's a BiG RED FLAG. Let me see if I can come up with some good adjectives for this guy.

I’ve never asked a woman ‘if her boobs are real’ (nor would I care). Are you looking for hookups (as opposed to a relationship)? It sounds as though you’re attracting superficial men by being superficial yourself, then placing the blame on (and complaining about) men, as a whole. It’s a red flag, to be sure.

The elevator shoes, you can see when he walks, so no need to ask, but I most certainly would never ask a man that question about his height. That would be so inconsiderate towards his feelings and his pride.

And seriously guys, I am not going to believe any of you who say you would turn down sex because the breasts are silicone. But even if you would, do not ask. Wait until you can get close enough to determine that by yourself. If you are never able to get that close, it remains none of your business.

I would never ask such a thing but if I was wondering if they were it would be because I was hoping the answer was yes. You don't find out by asking though, you find out by taking them for a test drive.

I can't tell you about feel. My wife's are unaltered and feel perfectly fine to me, but I don't have any experience with handling the fake ones. As for look, "cosmetic hand" meaning a minor touch up that is transparent to the naked eye, that might be an improvement, but how many cosmetic boob jobs are that as compared to "double the size and look like someone just stapled on water balloons". To me, if it looks like fake boobs, it looks bad.

I don’t have a preference one way or the other; from my perspective, you might as well (obnoxiously) be asking women upfront, per the thread, in order to find a match.
As long as I’m physically attracted to her, as a whole (and she is emotionally appealing based on her personality/inner characteristics as well), what difference does it make? Either way, her breasts are ‘real’. That said, if they aren’t in proportion with the rest of her body or she looks as though she works in the porn industry (lol), it is certainly NOT attractive.

Fake boobs - it is like with any other plastic surgery - if it is overdone, it doesn't look/feel natural.
If OP dresses in a way that her boobs are on display, she should not be offended that people ask.
