Here's a topic back from the dead: does anyone miss Dr. Laura's radio program? I do, largely because of the idiots who used to call in. For instance, "I divorced my husband and am raising four kids on my own and I want to bring strange men home and my mother-in-law is upset." I think most callers were unfamiliar with her show and were goaded into calling by regular listeners. I loved her advice. Of course, I wish she hadn't said that word and lost her show.

Dr. Laura stated the woke crowd is taking over. She feels it's a different time now so wanted to bow out before any controversy arises. I read this a few months agos but honestly, don't know Dr. Laura's Radio show. I might have heard her a few times.
The word? I think somebody was arguing not everyone could use it and she was arguing either it was for everyone or it was for no one. I don't know; that's just my take.
But then she spewed it several times, as if to prove a point. Didn't work out.
She was like the Judge Judy of radio. Everyone, except the great woke masses, enjoyed her blunt comments. Now the woke are picking folks off, one by one. She was probably too tired to fight it. She’s 75.
She's very intelligent and articulate. I miss her. I guess toxic means truthful to the woke (m)asses. (BTW, I believe you need experience to judge.)
