I don't know if Max Hall is going to start or not, I think it is up in the air. However, I simply don't think you can start him anymore. He's just not an NFL caliber player, in any sense of the word. The Defense has played lights out, the last two weeks. However, it has to be disheartening to look out there, and see that your QB gives you no chance to win.

I think this could be the week the wheels fall off the wagon, the team quits, and a locker room division happens. I love WHIZ, but something is horribly wrong.

The failure to find another QB, besides DA, is bizarre. When is Jeff Garcia's UFL contract up?

2 predictions:
If Hall starts-- 24-3 Bucs
If DA starts--9-7 Cards

Also, Hightower needs to play, and get touches. He ripped off runs of like 20, 8 and 12 when he fumbled. It happens...he was hit hard, and stripped from behind. The guy is a paid, NFL LBer for a reason. Whiz needs to remember that and not throw a fit, at the expense of the team.

TAMPA - Four days after he raised eyebrows throughout the NFL by proclaiming his team the best in the NFC, Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris said Thursday his proclamation was intended primarily to motivate his team.

Why else would he say it? At the beginning of the season, everyone was questioning his future status as head coach. With the way he is getting his players to play, and starting the season 5-2, he has ,for the most part, solidified his job for at least another year or two.

Another great game this week against the Cardinals. The Bucs keep finding ways to win. Josh Freeman is still showing talent and leadership beyond his years. I'm also really excited about Lagarrette Blount.

Surprise, surprise!

I was impressed with Josh Freeman's physical ability at Kansas State. This guy looks like the real deal as an NFL quarterback. He's not all the way there yet in terms of making decisions but the guy knows how move a team and he inspires a lot of confidence in his teammates.

Considering the Saints are not as strong as they were last year and the NFC Central is basically this years version of NFL's "Gang That Can't Shoot Straight" if the Bucs can win 4 more game this season they might be a wild card team. I think 10-6 definitely gets in the playoffs this year.

This is a young football team that is starting play with a lot of confidence.

You may want to get a cardboard box lined up. Take a look at Tampa's remaining schedule. They could win 11 games this year w/o beating a strong team. This week against Atlanta will tell everyone a lot about just where the Bucs are at.

Why would he say it in multiple press conferences instead of on the field, locker room? He's put a huge bulls-eye on his team. Sometimes when you're an overachiever, it's best to keep a low profile. No sense in making things more difficult on the field for your players (like he did).

Falcons may use Raheem Morris' "best team in the NFC" comment as motivation

The Falcons were certainly made aware of the comments made by Bucs coach Raheem Morris last week that Tampa Bay is the "best team in the NFC."

Now I get to see if the Bucs are for real

Personally, I don't think that they are any threat to make a deep playoff run but I'm going to be shocked if they don't win at least 9 games because of how weak their schedule is. IMO, Tampa's season is a success because it looks like they have found their QB and number one WR of the future. That alone makes this a good season.

If I was a betting man, I'd take Atlanta this week but like they say.... any given Sunday.
