Not a big fan of Cash but NY is not the only city this is happening in and there are still people here that say we don't have a problem with crime. When will they just admit that you need to be hard on criminals. When will the people say enough?
I go into Manhattan often and it is so sad seeing swaths of closed, boarded up stores.
The main touristy areas are just 'ok' but the side residential 'local' scenes are dying.
And the stores that are there are really Not quality stores.
Just stores meant for the lowest denominator.
Yep,..all that soft on crime, BLM defund yadda yadda coming home to roost. Congratz!
Not to mention the lockdowns forever purging the landscape.

Liberal voters are starting to wake up but I fear not enough of them are waking up fast enough to the damage caused by the progressive left. Most Democrat voters will make every excuse in the book not to vote for a Republican.

Many democrat legislators and the people who vote for them are too stupid to connect the dots. And the ones that actually understand why this is happening are perfectly okay with it because woke trumps sanity.

Almost every attack or shooting after that was perpetuated by a non-white perp, so the media squashed that story quickly
You gotta just let liberal cities crumble on their own. Don't invest in them and let them destroy their own.
The problem is that liberal cities are part of the national economy.
You may not think it affects people in other states, but indirectly it does.
Liberal cities are part of the means to pay taxes and pay down the federal debt. Now even though we know the debt won't get paid in reality - it's a different thing to see it forecasted on paper - that because of the lowered national economic expectations (because of the failure of liberal cities), we can't pay back the debt. The GDP is to low to cover the debt. That's when I expect things will get dicey.
We are tied to the failure of these cities - like it or not.
